Cushioned Sliders: My Honest Review

It’s almost cosy season! And with the holidays just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about your gift list.

With many of the shops being closed, the risk of lockdowns ever-looming, and COVID-19 variant Grinch-ing up the joint, many are turning to online stores to get their holiday shopping done. But when holiday shopping online, it’s important to start early so you gifts all arrive on time.

At Sleepbo, we are obsessed with all things comfy and cosy. We spend all our time researching tips, tricks, and products to ensure you and your loved ones get the best night’s sleep possible.

So, without further ado, we’d like to introduce our holiday blog series: Honest Reviews. Our team researched this year’s most popular cosy gift items and wrote their honest opinions on them so you can make smart purchases from reliable companies this holiday season.

Honest Review: Cushioned Sliders

Hello there! This is Ian from Sleepbo and I’m here with another addition to our Honest Review series! This time I’d like to talk about cushioned sliders…except, it won’t be about me. No, you see, I decided to buy a few different pairs for my mum, and this is her honest experience.

My mum is a lot older (no, I won’t reveal her age because she’s a lady and we don’t reveal a lady’s age), so she’s begun to develop some issues that generally appear as we grow older. The number one culprit is arthritis in her legs and feet. I knew I had to help her with the pain.

My solution? I decided to purchase a few different pairs of cushioned sliders. Sliders are easy for her to wear, so I thought that that would be the best option of footwear. The three brands that I went for are Jowebb, Pillow Slides, and kudd.ly™.

Without further ado, here is the Honest Review Series: Cushioned Sliders.

The Perfect PAir for Mum

Ian: So, mum. What are some of the health conditions you are currently experiencing?

Mum: Well, as we get older, a lot of us tend to develop arthritis. I have arthritis in my legs and feet, and because of that, I often experience pain in my joints as well as the soles of my feet. It doesn’t help that I am slightly overweight as well, which puts added pressure on my joints.

Ian: That sounds awful. If I’m not mistaken, your regular shoes aren’t much help either?

Mum: That’s correct. Regular shoes don’t always have cushioned support, so I might as well be walking barefoot on the pavement. I also am unable to bend over and tie my shoes. It’s really quite bothersome.

Ian: Well, mum, I’ve got something here that might be helpful to you. I have bought three different pairs of cushioned sliders for you. There are no buckles, no laces, nothing that will cause you any trouble putting them on.

Mum: Oh lovely. You are too sweet.

Ian: Thanks mum. Now, what I would like you to do is to try each pair on and let me know which one you think is the best.

Mum: Do I get to keep them all?

Ian: Well, yeah. I suppose.

Mum: Okay! Alright, well. This first one is a little on the thinner side. It’s not much different from my regular shoes. It also feels quite flimsy.

Ian: Okay, so those are the Jowebb slippers.

Mum: Yeah, can’t say I’m a fan, really.

Ian: Okay, alright. Onto the second pair then!

Mum: You know, I feel like a celebrity. Trying on all these shoes. Well, these are really comfortable. I feel as if I’m stepping on a cloud. And I really love this orange colour! Yes, these are quite nice. I don’t feel the sharp pain in my joints either.

Ian: Oh? Wonderful! Those are the Kuddly Kloud Sliders. I’m glad you liked them. Let’s try the third pair.

Mum: Oh these aren’t bad at all! They’re almost as comfy as the last pair, but I still think those ones were a bit on the thicker side. I would pick these as really close second.

Ian: Ah, interesting. Those are the Pillow Slides.

Mum: I just have one simple, yet very important question. Are these all UK based?

Ian: Unfortunately, the Pillow Slides are not, but the other two are.

Mum: Well, that does it then! I will choose the orange ones. Kuddles was it?

Ian: No mum, it’s kudd.ly™. It seems we have a winner. The Kuddly Kloud Sliders!

Kloud Slider BReakdown

I wasn’t surprised at all that mum would love the Kuddly Kloud Sliders. In fact, I actually own a pair myself, and I must say they are truly the most comfortable sliders I have tried on.

The Kloud Sliders are designed with EVA CushionSoft™ technology, so the thick soles mould to the shape of your feet. This helps better cushion your feet and reduces impact that could lead to joint pain in the feet, legs, and back.

  • Moulds to the shape of your feet
  • Relieves foot, joint, and back pain
  • Wear them anywhere and everywhere

Ordering the Kloud Sliders was fairly easy and quick. Kudd.ly made good on their promise for a speedy delivery, as I received the package in just two days!

Final Thoughts

Overall, I can say that mum is quite happy with her Kuddly Kloud Sliders. She actually made me order two more pairs for her so that she can switch up her style. The best part is seeing her become self-sufficient again.

So, if you’re wondering about which slider would be the best fit for your mum or dad, then take it from my own mum and go with kudd.ly™! I’m positive that they won’t be disappointed.
