As a young parent, I hardly have time to keep my house clean, let alone try to make it look as chic as the homes on my Pinterest board.
I’m always looking for affordable ways to make my home look and feel better, but I’ll admit, I was skeptical when my manager at Sleepbo told me that Throw Blankets were one of the top trending Christmas gift items of 2021.
According to many Sleepbo readers, throw blankets increase satisfaction, and comfort, all while adding aesthetic value to your home.
So it was exactly the thing I was looking for! I went ahead and bought a throw blanket, but not just any throw blanket. I bought the blanket I’d been seeing all over social media–the kuddly Throw Blanket.
Here is my honest review.
Choosing which blanket to buy really wasn’t difficult. kuddly is one of the most trustworthy and hyped-up brands in the UK. And when you break it down, it’s easy to see why.
I see people raving about their kuddly weighted blankets, hoodies, and heated slippers all the time. So when I saw they also had a premium throw blanket, I had to check it out.
I’m so glad I finally decided to look into kuddly because their Throw Blanket is truly above and beyond any other blanket I’ve seen online or in-store.

I knew I had to go with kuddly because I was getting a significantly better blanket for a more affordable price!
I’ll admit that I didn’t have the highest expectations of getting my package right away. Whenever I get something with free shipping, it always takes a while to arrive. I figured it was just the trade-off for getting it delivered for free.
So, when my kuddly package arrived at my doorstep only two days later, I was shocked! It was a real treat to get such a nicely packaged parcel so quickly.
The bigger treat came when I opened it up, though. My first thought was how convenient the reusable bag is. It really is the perfect portable size. I can see myself taking this blanket on family getaways. It will drape over both my kids in the back seat of the car and provide that extra homey touch to any Airbnb, all while fitting easily into my suitcase!
Once I took it out of the bag, however, that’s when I was really blown away. I finally understood what they meant by “4x softer than the average throw”. It really was the softest blanket I’d ever felt. I couldn’t wait to wrap myself up in it!
However, I was still at work when I received the package, so even though I work from home, I can’t just cuddle up in a big blanket whenever I want! So, I decided to drape it over my sofa for the rest of the day.
It looked really luxurious there and added a whole other dimension of decor to my living room. I mean, look at it! It really is gorgeous. I couldn’t wait to try different ways to accessorize my room with it.
After a month of use, I’ve noticed that every single night, someone in my family is cosying up in this blanket. I hardly get to use it myself!
My son loves cuddling up under it when he’s playing his games and my daughter loves to lay it out flat to play with her toys on top of it. She says the faux mink feels like “fairy grass”.
A few weeks after receiving the blanket, I hosted a holiday dinner party with friends. I cleaned my whole flat and tossed the blanket in the washing machine to clean it before everyone came over.
To my surprise, the blanket actually came out softer and fluffier than before! I folded it neatly over the corner of my sofa and throughout the night, two of my friends complimented me on it. One noticed how soft it was and the other said it “makes my old couch look new and fashionable”… Ok so one of the compliments was a bit backhanded, but still! I’ll take it!
A blanket may not seem like a life-changing purchase, but let me tell you, it can be. For such an affordable price, I consider it a worthwhile investment in my space.

It’s hard to find an argument for why it hasn’t improved my quality of life! Considering it was such a simple and affordable purchase, I’d say it was well worth the money.
